The City of Ekurhuleni has embarked on programme to rightfully collect revenue owed to it, this as they went on what they call an aggressive campaign to collect revenue from companies that defaulted on their bills. On the other hand, residents in some of the areas under the municipality have gone on the rampage in protest against the lack of water, especially in Kwa-Thema and surrounding areas.
